Tires and wheels

Only use tires and wheels that have been specially designed for your vehicle and have been tested and approved «Mercedes Benz». Other tires and wheels can lead to negative changes:

• deterioration of dynamic properties;
• louder noise;
• increased fuel consumption.

Tires and wheels not approved by the «DaimlerChrysler», may be too large or deform under load. As a result, they can touch the body and its elements and damage the tires or the car.

Tire speed index

The speed index is part of the tire designation. It indicates for which speed range the tire is approved.

R	up to 170 km/h
T	up to 190 km/h
H	up to 210 km/h

* You can find the inflation pressure chart for hot tires on the vehicle's fuel filler cap. Adjust tire pressure only when tires are cold.
