Position 0. With the key removed, the steering wheel is locked. The key can only be removed in position 0.
Position 1. Steering wheel unlocked. In this position of the ignition key, all electronic systems of the car are turned on, except for the radio.
Position 2. In this position of the ignition key, all electronic systems of the car are turned on.
Position 3. This position is only used to start the engine. The ignition key should be released from this position as soon as the engine starts.
Attention! Never remove the ignition key while the vehicle is moving. Doing so will lock the steering wheel and cause you to lose control of the vehicle, resulting in serious damage or injury.
Remember! Do not use the starter to start the engine for more than 15 seconds. If the engine does not start, wait 5-10 seconds and try again. If the engine does not start after several attempts, check the fuel system and ignition system. Do not leave the ignition key in position 3 for a long time (if the engine is not running), as this will drain the battery.
