During routine inspections of the system, check for traces of brake fluid on the master cylinder (at the top of the clutch pedal) and working cylinder (near CP).
Clutch cylinders with traces of oil are leaking and must be replaced. At the same time, it is difficult to establish the source of origin of these traces on the working cylinder without thorough cleaning of the entire surrounding area.
For pumping, you need a transparent hose about 1 m long. Bleeding the clutch hydraulic drive must be carried out as follows (work is recommended to be done with an assistant):
- put the free end of the hose on the bleeder fitting of the working cylinder;
- then press the clutch pedal several times and, while holding the pedal, open the bleeder valve to let the brake fluid out with air bubbles, tighten the bleeder screw, etc. until air bubbles disappear from the outgoing brake fluid;
- tighten the bolts of the bleed holes on the working cylinder, remove the hose;
- check the operation of the clutch drive and its tightness with the engine running and reverse gear engaged;
- add liquid to the tank up to the Max mark, but do not overfill, as it may leak out.
