Removal and installation of nozzles

The injectors are under the intake manifold so they are not visible. Removal and installation of injectors must be carried out in the following order:

• take off «negative» battery terminal;

• remove the ones shown in Fig. 156 air filter parts;

• disconnect hose 2 (pic. 157) crankcase ventilation;
• disconnect the fuel line and the fourth cylinder injector sealing plug;
• remove clamp 3;
• unscrew the nut securing the fuel line to the injector with a wrench and carefully move it to the side. You can use an open end wrench without slipping;
• socket wrench «by 27 mm» unscrew the injector body, remove the gasket and injector plate. Replace these parts at the next assembly;

Assembly is carried out in the reverse order. Wrap injectors with a torque of 70–90 Nm, nuts for fastening fuel lines - 10–20 Nm. When tightening the nuts, do not damage them.
