Rear brake caliper repair

Caliper repair (replacement of the sealing ring on the inside or the dirt cover) on your own is not recommended. If a caliper is suspected to be defective, contact a specialized workshop to find out if it can be repaired. Otherwise, the caliper should be replaced.

Note. For different modifications, rear calipers with brake cylinders of three different diameters are installed: for mod. 208D, 212D (series 901 and 902) — diameter 45 mm; 308D and 312D (series 903) - 52 mm; 412D (series 904) - 44 mm. On the latter, each brake cylinder is equipped with two pistons.
