Breaking in a new car

In order to ensure the reliability and durability of the car in operation, during the first 15,000 km of run, it is necessary to adhere to the following rules:

• Do not start at full throttle, avoid sudden acceleration and excessive increases in engine speed;
• Try to move at a speed no more than 2/3 of the maximum value;
• Shift gears in a timely manner, avoid engine braking;
• On models with AT, use ranges 3, 2 and 1 only if necessary and at low speeds;
• Avoid activation of the kickdown mode, - do not press the gas pedal all the way;
• Don't brake too hard. Normal running-in of new brake pads takes place over a distance of 300 km, during which you should, if possible, brake smoothly and with medium intensity.

After repair or replacement of the engine, as well as after the replacement of brake pads, the same restrictions and recommendations must be observed.
