The clutch is self-adjusting and requires no maintenance. The wear of the driven disk is determined by the free play of the clutch pedal. The thickness of the driven disc is measured in the installed position using a special control template. The template can be made independently.
As part of routine maintenance work, the thickness of the driven disk must be checked every 20,000 km.
Make a control template from a steel sheet according to a sketch. Thickness 0.8 mm.
Raise the car.
The lining of the driven disk is normal if the template (4) can be inserted up to the stop and the cutouts on the probe are not visible (see arrow).
If the cutouts are visible, and the probe is inserted to the end, then the driven disk is worn out and must be replaced.
