Carefully open the lid.
Suck the coolant into the dipstick and measure the density of the coolant with a float. Antifreeze should reach a freezing temperature of -30°C in the middle latitudes.
Adding Mercedes Antifreeze Concentrate
Example: Measuring antifreeze with a rod gives a temperature value of -10°C. In this case, drain 3 liters of coolant from the cooling system and drink 3 liters of pure antifreeze concentrate there.

Close the radiator cap and check the antifreeze again after a test drive.
