The brake pipes are crimped at the front and have a tapered piece at the end for connection to a tapered threaded hole in the brake cylinder or camshaft. There is a tubular nut on the conical part, which ensures the reliability of the connection.
Brake hoses are used to connect the fixed part of the brake system to its moving parts.
Replacement
Jack up and support the car. Disconnect the brake pipe at the union nut.
Seal the pipe connection in the direction of the master cylinder with a suitable plug.
Install a new tube.
When connecting the brake pipe, apply a little brake fluid to the chamfers of the contact surfaces and tighten the nut.
Install a new brake hose, taking care not to kink, and tighten the union nut.
Use only hoses recommended by the manufacturer.
After replacing the brake pipe/hose, check (without lowering the car), check if the hose hits anything when the wheel is turned.
Caution: Avoid getting oil or gasoline on the brake hoses. Do not varnish them under any circumstances.
Bleed the brake system.
Lower the car.
