Removal and installation of rocker arms

Rocker arms always put only in their places.

When installing new rocker arms, the camshaft must be carefully checked and, if necessary, replaced.

Using a screwdriver, remove the rocker spring, while turning the camshaft to a position in which the rocker arm is unloaded.

The camshaft drive can only be rotated by the crankshaft. Press the valve spring plate and remove the rocker arm. The rocker arm is installed in the reverse order. Before installing, lubricate the working surfaces of the rocker arm with engine oil. Check and adjust valve clearance as described below.
