Sequence of work
1. Place the car on a jack, as when changing the rear wheel, engage 4th or 5th gear. The crankshaft will turn if the rear wheel turns freely. You will achieve the same effect if you push the car forward a little.

You can also turn the engine with a socket wrench 27 by putting it on the crankshaft pulley nut (pic. 4.17). The engine should only be turned clockwise.
2. Remove the head cover and rotate the engine so that the cams of the first cylinder on the camshaft look vertically up. For a more accurate installation, slightly rotate the crankshaft in one direction or another so that the mark on the drive belt pulley matches the mark on the block.
3. To make sure it is in the correct position, turn the crankshaft back and forth until the TDC mark on the pulley matches the pointer on the engine block.
