1. Measure the narrow part of the mounting bolts with a vernier caliper. It must not be less than indicated in the technical data. Replace bolts if necessary.
2. Dry the mating surfaces, then install the flywheel (driving disk) on the crankshaft, aligning the marks.
3. Insert the bolts and tighten them in a diagonal sequence to the specified torque while holding the flywheel (driving disk) from turning with a wide-bladed screwdriver inserted into the ring gear.
4. Install, depending on the design, an automatic transmission or clutch.
