Removing
1. Disconnect the negative cable (-) battery with the ignition off. The cabin air filter box must first be removed.
Attention! Before disconnecting the cable, find out the security code of the radio, if any, refer to Section Replacing the battery.
2. Remove the central air deflector.
3. Remove the shift lever/selector cover as described in Section Removal and installation of the center console.
4. Take out the case of an ashtray from the central console as it is described in the Section Removal and installation of the center console.
5. Open the spring clips (arrows in the illustration) at the bottom of the lid (1). (2) – heater control unit on the back side of the cover.
6. Remove the cover from the top of the center console.
7. Disconnect the connector of the heater and control switch from the back side of the cover.
Installation
1. Connect the connector of the heater and the control switch on the reverse side of the cover.
2. Install the cover at the top of the center console, insert the spring clips at the bottom at the bottom (arrows in the illustration) consoles (1) and fix.
3. Further installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
4. Connect the negative cable (-) to the battery when the ignition is off. Install the cabin air filter box. Enter the radio code and set the time on the clock.
