Removing
1. Disconnect the negative cable (-) battery with the ignition off. The cabin air filter box must first be removed.
Attention! Before disconnecting the cable, find out the security code of the radio, if any, refer to Section Replacing the battery.
2. Open the trunk and remove the warning sign from the holder.
3. Remove the lining of the trunk lid, refer to the appropriate section.
4. Disconnect all wires on the cover.
5. Pull back the lining on the wings of the trunk lid. If necessary, disconnect all locking strips and remove the lining.
6. Mark the position of the wings on the trunk lid with a felt-tip pen.
7. Have an assistant hold the cover and remove 2 bolts on the left and right of the cover.
8. Remove the cover upwards from the slats on the wings and place on a soft pad.
Installation
1. Insert the cover into the slats on the wings. Line up the cover.
2. Screw in two fastening bolts on the left and on the right, close the cover and expose it, obtaining a uniform gap around the fit perimeter.
3. Tighten the mounting bolts to 8Nm.
4. Further installation is performed in the reverse order of removal.
5. Connect the negative cable (-) to the battery when the ignition is off. Install the cabin air filter box. Enter the radio code and set the time on the clock.
Gaps
Check the gaps along the contour of the fit of the cover. Values are given in Specifications.
