Gas engine
After a relatively long operation of the car, the thin channels in the radiator can be clogged with coolant residues and lime deposits. As a result, the cooling capacity is reduced and the engine gets too hot. In this case, only the installation of a new radiator helps.
Removing
1. Disconnect the ground wire (–) from the battery.
Attention! This erases the anti-theft code of the radio.
2. Drain the coolant.
3. Pull up the fixing springs (33) fan cover.
4. Pull the fan shroud up a little and place it on top of the fan.
5. On vehicles with automatic transmission, disconnect the oil lines from the terminals using suitable clamps (7/8), from and to the gearbox and unscrew them on the radiator (4). At the same time, pay attention to perfect cleanliness. Before removing them, clean the connections from the outside with alcohol. Immediately afterwards, close the oil lines with plastic caps with rubber rings so that dirt cannot get on them.
6. Remove the coolant hoses from the radiator by first loosening the clamps and sliding them all the way back.
7. Pull up the fixing springs. Pull the radiator up.
Installation
1. Check all coolant hoses for nicks, cracks, or other damage, and replace damaged hoses if necessary. Check the rubber caps on the radiator mounts and make sure they are in good condition.
2. Insert the radiator from above in such a way that the fixing fingers of the radiator are caught in the rubber caps.
3. Insert the fixing springs at the top to secure the radiator.
4. Fit the coolant hoses and secure with clips.
5. If the radiator hoses are still disassembled, then firmly tighten the union nuts on them with a torque of 20 Nm, remove the clamps.
6. Install the fan shroud, press it down and lock it into the side retaining plates on the heatsink.
7. Insert the top spring clip of the fan shroud.
8. Fill with coolant.
9. Connect the ground wire to the battery terminal.
10. Warm up the engine and check the tightness of the hose connections.
11. Check coolant level, top up if necessary.
12. For vehicles with automatic transmission, check the oil level in the gearbox.
13. Set the time on the clock.
14. Enter the anti-theft code for the radio.

7. On vehicles with automatic transmission, use suitable clamps to disconnect the oil line clamps from and to the gearbox and unscrew them at the radiator. At the same time, pay attention to cleanliness, before removing the connections, clean the outside with alcohol. Then place small plastic bags with rubber rings over the oil lines to keep dirt out.
8. Remove from radiator (4) coolant hoses by loosening the clamps and sliding them all the way back.
9. Pull up the fixing springs (15).
10. Remove the hood control cable.
11. Pull up the radiator (1) along with the air duct.
