If possible, do not remove a nail or bolt that has broken through the tire. The sealant that comes out of the hole to be machined hardens and can be removed as a sticky film.
Attention! Tire damage larger than 4 mm cannot be repaired with TIREFIT.
The maximum speed with repaired tire damage TIREFIT is not more than 80 km/h!
Do not allow sealant to come into contact with eyes, skin, or clothing. Rinse skin or eyes with plenty of clean water if sealant does get into them.
Attention! If TIREFIT is swallowed by a child, rinse the mouth with plenty of water and let the child drink plenty of liquid. Don't induce vomiting! Seek medical attention immediately!
Tire Damage Repair
1. Apply the parking brake.
2. Engage first or reverse gear for vehicles with a manual transmission. On vehicles with an automatic transmission, move the transmission control lever to position P.
3. Remove the can of sealant from the trunk, shake the can and screw hose 1 onto the can. This opens the can.
4. Unscrew the valve cover and remove the spool 2 using the cap 3.
5. Remove plug 4 from hose 1 and put the hose on the tire valve.
6. Squeeze the contents of the can into the tire while holding the can of sealant upside down.
Attention! To facilitate the procedure for pumping sealant into the tire, install the wheel so that the valve is not at the lowest point.
7. Disconnect the hose 1 and replace the valve spool using the cap 3.
8. Inflate the tire using the electric pump provided in the vehicle tool kit.
9. Open the cover and remove the connecting hose 5 of the pump with a pressure gauge and an adapter 6 for connecting to a socket.
10. Screw hose 5 onto the tire valve.
11. Connect the adapter to the cigarette lighter and turn on the pump by first moving the key in the ignition to position 1.
After about 5 minutes, if an electric pump connected to the cigarette lighter is used for inflation, the pressure in the repaired tire should be at least 1.8 bar.
If this pressure is not reached, then drive about 10 meters forward or turn the car back so that the sealant pumped into the tire evenly spreads over the tire, and then repeat tire inflation.
Attention! The electric pump must not run continuously for more than six minutes. Let him cool down. Otherwise, it may overheat.
