Vehicles with central locking without remote control
The front door is unlocked with a key. When the lock switch is turned (cylinder) the microswitch on the door sends a signal to the central locking control unit, which is located on the instrument panel.
After receiving the signal, the central locking pump in the trunk is activated and the pneumatic actuators on the locks of all doors close or open all the locks at the same time.
Vehicles with remote control
The doors are locked by pressing a button on the remote control.
When a signal is received by the central locking control unit, which is located in the footwell on the driver's side next to the steering column, the central locking pump in the trunk is activated from the receiver in the ignition lock and the pneumatic actuators on the locks of all doors close or open all locks at the same time.
Attention! Cars with central locking from the remote control do not have microswitches on the doors.
Automatic door locking. Only cars with remote control
The doors lock automatically at a speed of 35 kilometers per hour. At the same time, the central locking pump in the trunk is activated and the pneumatic actuators on the locks of all doors close or open all the locks at the same time.
Turning off the automatic locking of the door locks is carried out by the central locking switch in the passenger compartment with the ignition on.
First, the doors should be locked with the switch, and then opened, while continuing to hold the switch in the position «open» at least 5 more seconds.
Automatic mode is activated after pressing the switch and holding it in this position for at least 5 seconds.
The central locking switch is located on the center console.
The door locks are automatically locked even if, after unlocking them, none of the doors was opened after 40 seconds, or the key was not inserted into the ignition lock, or the central locking switch in the passenger compartment was not activated.
