Removing
1. Remove the door glass, see relevant chapter.
2. Disconnect the power window multi-pin power plug.
3. Disconnect the holder of a plait of wires from a window regulator.
4. Drill blind rivets (see arrows in illustration) with a 7 mm drill so that the head of the rivet falls out. Be careful not to drill through the door itself. Knock out the rest of the rivet with a punch.
Attention! Be sure to remove the remains of rivets and metal shavings from the door cavity. Otherwise, rust may occur. If the paint layer is damaged, restore it.
5. Remove the power window 1 from the cavity of the door together with the electric motor through the bottom hole.
Installation
6. Insert the power window through the bottom hole in the door and fix it in place.
7. Insert new rivets for fastening of a window regulator and flatten them with corresponding pincers. The power window support plate must fit snugly against the inner bulkhead of the door.
8. Check up ease of a course of a window regulator. If necessary, apply a thin layer of lubricant, e.g «Isoflex Topas L32».
9. Connect the power plug to the power window motor.
10 Attach the wire harness holder to the power window. Replace the damaged holder with a new one.
11. Reinstall the door glass.
